Understanding Modern Man

Modern humans or modern society is a society that most citizens have cultural value orientation is directed into life in contemporary civilization. In general, modern people living in urban areas, the so-called urban community. But not all urban communities can not be called modern society, because city people have no orientation to the present, such as homelessness.
Modern Human Characteristics
Below are the traits of Modern Man, among others:
1. Accept new things. That is, modern humans have a willingness to accept new experiences and openness to reform and change.
2. Has noted a good opinion about their own environment and outside. That is, have the ability to form or have opinions about some issues and matters that arise around it and in the outside world.
a. Democratic, in the sense aware of the diversity of attitudes and opinions surrounding it, and do not close yourself to think all people have the same opinion with him.
b. Accept different opinions without expressly or reject it because of loud opinions worried that it would destroy his world views.
c. Not received opinions are autocratic and hierarchical. Modern humans did not immediately accept the ideas of the people a higher position and immediately rejected the opinions of the people of lower position. The idea of any party be heard and appreciated the same, and only judged on the quality of his idea alone.
3. Appreciate the time, meaning that modern human-oriented present and future time, rather than the past. Modern man is always on time. Modern humans have a fixed time (schedule) so that his life planned and organized.
4. Has the planning and organizing, means that modern man would want involved in planning matters relating to his life and organization, and regard it as something natural.
5. Confidence, meaning that modern humans believe that people can learn, within certain limits to master nature, to their own, not dominated entirely by nature.
6. Calculation, it means modern humans have the ability to account for everything.
7. Respecting the dignity of life of others, meaning that modern humans are the ones who are aware of self-esteem of others and willing to appreciate it.
8. Modern humans have a strong belief for knowledge of technology as a means to improve the welfare of the community.
9. Modern man believes that rewards should be given in accordance with the actions, not because the things or properties owned by someone who had nothing to do with his actions.
10. Have a good attitude. Commonly, modern humans have better knowledge than villagers, so that’s the reason why modern humans must have a good attitude.
